The website magazine, entitled ReallyRich.com- your Online Gay Best Friend offers women advice on fashion, relationships, health, and beauty.
The magazine was launched by London male writers who recognized that women now are actively seeking out advice from a gay best friend. It is a multi-media magazine that is produced by partners Rich Woods and Mike Jacob who are a couple in real life.
The goal of the magazine is to empower readers to be self-confident, independent, and fulfilled women.
Although the magazine has just launched, it already has worked with major international brands such as Sony, Clinique, and Awear.com and is proud to tout its commitment to a variety of women’s charities like Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.
First launched as a hobby, the website quickly evolved and caught on fire online with the guys now offering advice to thousands of women globally on any given day.
Co-founder Rich stated that it is very fashionable for accomplished woman to have a gay best friend such as in Sex & the City. He explained that the magazine takes the fictional ideal and makes it possible for any woman no matter where they live.
For Rich, who always wanted to work for a women’s magazine as an advice columnist, the creation and success of the web magazine is a dream come true.
